I went in the Carters store today and they had a lot of racks that were 70% off.  There were lots of stuff on sale including 50% off all the new fall pajamas.  Carters are my absolute favorite jammies for my kids.  They hold up so well when washed and are always so soft and comfy!  You can go online at www.carters.com to check locations.

Burlington....they have more than coats

Burlington Coat Factory has an EXTRA 40% off all women's Clearance clothing!  I asked a sales associate and she said it would probably run another couple weeks.  I know here in Johnson County Kansas there is one at the Great Plains Mall & on Shawnee Mission Parkway.  You can check out the website for other locations at www.burlingtoncoatfactory.com

Buy Pampers and Get Free Stuff

If you are a mom right in the middle of the diaper stage then I have a deal for you!  I am a Pampers purchaser and I always have been.  I know some mom's are Huggies only or Luvs only or "whatever is on sale" only, but I have always been a Pampers only.

So, Pampers has a Gifts to Grow Program.  You go online and sign up at www.pampers.com and then every time you buy a Pampers product like wipes or diapers you look for the code on the product.  You enter the code online and they give you points.  Once you get so many points then you are eligible for free products and you get to choose from the catalog online.

There are toys and books in the catalog, Starbucks gift cards, and lots of things from Shutterfly.com.  I am striving for a Shutterfly 8X8 Photo Book. (I always make a photo book of Ava and Roman's birthday every year.)  It is 100 points and I think I have 78 right now.  I started this a couple of months ago, so it hasn't taken very long.  You can get some things for as little as 20 points.  If you have to buy diapers anyway, then you might as well make it fun by getting something out of it!  Don't forget to go to www.pampers.com and check out the gifts to grow section.

Do me a favor and take the poll on the right.....then we will all know what the most popular diaper brand is!!!  Plus, always feel free to comment on the blog....I would love some feedback, especially if you have some deals, tips or bargains to share!

Cheap Movies

Blockbuster has a summer promotion offering kids movies for $1.99 right now.  I like to go to the library to get movies for my kids because they are free, but they don't have as much as Blockbuster, so sometimes it is a nice treat to go there and pick out a movie.  Or if Paul and I go to rent a movie for us and we have the kids with us they always beg for one....and we typically break down and walk out of there spending more than we wanted.  I think this deal will run through August.

We joined the Blockbuster Rewards program and if you go on Tuesdays and rent one movie then you get one movie for free.  So if you rent one for the adults at regular price, which is $4.59 then you could get a family movie ($4.59) for free.  Then you could get a kids movie for $1.99.   So, you get 3 movies for $6.58 (before tax) and that normally would have cost $13.77.  That is one movie to watch by yourselves, one to watch as a family and one just for the kids!!  Or you get could get two movies for the adults and one for the kids.  My husband and I have been enjoying renting seasons of TV shows since there is nothing to watch on TV in the summer.  You could keep them a week and then take them back on the next Tuesday and do the same thing again.

I know some moms who use renting movies as incentives for behaving throughout the week.  Also, with the Blockbuster Reward program you get at least one coupon a month for a totally free movie of your choice.  Happy movie watching!

Take Time to Relax.....Buy A Magazine!

Okay, normally I don't buy magazines because it just seems like a waste of money most of the time......although I absolutely LOVE to read magazines.  I would buy them all the time if I didn't restrain myself.  However, I have a couple of magazines you may want to buy because there are coupons in them.

All You is a magazine that has tons of coupons in them.  I am a huge coupon clipper...SO I need this magazine...RIGHT?  It is only $1.97 and then has lots of food coupons in it.  If you use the coupons you probably get your money back and get to enjoy a magazine in the meantime.  If you go to their website www.allyou.com you can sign up to receive two free trial issues.

This week's People magazine has a Build-A-Bear coupon in it.  If you have little kiddos that like Build-A-Bear and you have a birthday or special occasion coming up then you might want to pick this magazine up.  It is for $5 off a bear of $10 or more.  It expires on Sept 30.  Whether you use the coupon or not.....you get to look at Brad Pitt.....Can you really put a price on that?

Lastly, if you know of a great magazine that has coupons or great money-saving tips then let me know.  Happy Reading and Relaxing!

School Already??

Well,  I am sure all the mom's out there are in a whirlwind trying to get their kids ready for school.  Luckily, I am not in that season of life just yet.  I sympathize with you because I know it takes a lot of $$$ to get your kids ready for school.  So, here are a couple of places offering great sales right now, especially if you have more than one child you are trying to send to school looking cute!

They also have a 15% off coupon right now.  If you have not signed up to receive their coupons then go online and sign-up. I NEVER EVER pay full price at Childrens Place.  You can always get at least 15% off.....every little bit helps. :)  Also they have a new Place Perks Card....If you spend $75 then you get $10 back.  How easy is it to spend $75 when you are school shopping?  Go to www.childrensplace.com and sign up!
